Zenbody
Privacy Policy
Last updated August 25, 2026
Zenbody is a daily mobility and stretching practice, made by Kip Builds LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers the Zenbody app and this website at zenbody.app.
We try to keep the app simple, and we keep our approach to your information the same way. We collect little, we don't sell it, and the usage data we do gather is tied to a random account number rather than your name.
The short version
- We ask for your name and email only through Sign in with Apple, and Apple lets you hide your real email.
- Your setup answers and your practice history are stored so the app can remember your preferences and show your streak.
- We use an analytics service to see how the app and this website are used. In the app it is keyed to a random account number, never your name or email. On the website it is not tied to you at all.
- You can delete your account, and everything tied to it, from inside the app at any time.
- We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Information we collect
When you create an account
Zenbody uses Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, Apple shares your name and the email address on your Apple account. Apple lets you hide your real email and share a private forwarding address instead, and you can change this at any time in your Apple settings. We store a random account number that identifies you to us, along with the name and email Apple provides.
What you tell us during setup
When you set up the app, you answer a few questions so we can shape your practice: roughly how much time you spend on screens, what you're looking for, the areas of the body you want to focus on, any areas you'd like to keep gentle, how long you like to move, where you tend to practice, and when you'd like a daily reminder. We store these as short codes, and you can change them later.
Your practice activity
We record which routines you complete and when, so the app can show your weekly streak and suggest what to do next.
Reminders
If you turn on daily reminders, we store the time you choose so the app can remind you. You can change the time or turn reminders off whenever you like.
The stillness nudge
If you turn on the optional nudge for when you've been sitting a while, your device tells the app when you've been still, so it can time a gentle prompt. This is read on your device. We don't collect or store your movement data.
Analytics
We use Mixpanel, an analytics service, to understand how people use the app so we can make it better. This is tied to your random account number, never your name or email. It records events like opening the app, moving through setup, and starting or finishing a practice.
We use it on this website too. Here it records which pages are visited and which links are followed, and it is not tied to an account or to anything you have told us. Your browser stores a random number so that repeat visits are not counted twice, and you can clear it whenever you clear your browser storage. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we record nothing at all.
We sometimes run ads on Google. When a visit comes from one of those ads, Google Ads is told whether that visit led to a tap on the App Store button, so we can see whether the ads are worth running. Google sets a cookie for that click; it is not tied to your name or email, and it is off too when your browser sends Do Not Track.
Information kept on your device
Some information stays on your device and is not sent to us. This includes practice records waiting to sync, a small cache of your week, downloaded illustrations, and your sign-in token, which is held in the device Keychain.
How we use your information
- Run the app and keep you signed in
- Remember your preferences and shape your practice
- Show your streak and suggest routines
- Send the reminders you ask for
- Understand how the app is used so we can improve it
- Keep the service working and secure
How we share information
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising. We share it only with the services that help us run Zenbody:
- Apple, for Sign in with Apple and App Store delivery
- Supabase, which hosts our database and handles accounts
- Mixpanel, for the usage analytics described above
- Google Ads, for the ad measurement described above
- Vercel, which hosts this website
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and of Zenbody.
Where your information is processed
Zenbody is operated from the United States, and the services above process data in the United States. If you use Zenbody from another country, your information will be handled here.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it
We keep your account information for as long as you have an account. You can sign out at any time, and you can delete your account, along with your profile and practice history, from the Account screen in the app. Deleting your account removes that information from our database.
You can also stop sharing with Apple at any time under Settings, then your name, then Sign in with Apple.
Usage information already collected by our analytics service is not tied to your name or email, and is kept in aggregate to understand trends.
Children
Zenbody is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, please write to us and we'll remove it.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable measures. Connections are encrypted in transit, and your sign-in token is stored in your device's Keychain. No app or service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your information safe.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Most of this you can do yourself in the app. For anything else, write to us at the address below and we'll help.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change, and we'll revise the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll do our best to let you know in the app or by email.
